The 37th edition of Confitexpo, the International Confectionery Show, ended with great success. Three days were needed for the members of this great industry to renew negotiations and celebrate the reunion by showing the enormous variety of products that seek to satisfy the palates of increasingly demanding and informed consumers.
The event was attended by qualified buyers, decision makers of the companies, who came looking for innovations to meet market requirements in all aspects: natural ingredients, adequate portions, environmentally friendly packaging and products, differentiating products, without neglecting the taste, texture and quality of them.
Manufacturers and suppliers, on their side, offered visitors products that aim to satisfy the demands of market trends and consumer preferences, maintaining, as always, the highest quality standards.
More than 150 domestic and foreign companies participated in this edition of Confitexpo, 44 of them for the first time. Among the exhibitors, in addition to companies from all over Mexico, there were companies from countries such as the United States, Spain, Turkey, Guatemala, Argentina and China.
From the very first day the exhibitors received buyers from different parts of the Mexican Republic and other countries, who came to see the creations made with Mexican spice capable of mixing sugar with chili, gelatin and flavorings, exhibiting unique creations capable of capturing the attention of those who enjoy the new products.
The confectionery industry in Mexico has been renewed and will undoubtedly remain buoyant, as those who shape the industry apply all their creativity to obtain products that reach the end consumer victoriously.
The modernization of plants, the use of new ingredients, flavors and colors, are the basic ingredients for this industry that never ceases to grow.
